Clive’s professional experience includes:

Clive has been with Reeves+Neylan since leaving college in 1976 where he was one of two students in a class of 90 to achieve a Distinction level pass in his Accountancy studies. His secondary education was at Kent College in Canterbury and he has lived in Kent for 40 years.
Clive qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 (first time passes) and attained his Fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1990. In 1985 he became a partner in Reeves+Neylan.
Clive currently looks after a mixed portfolio of high net worth individuals and owner managed businesses with a particular bias towards professional firms (solicitors, chartered surveyors). Clive leads the firm's Wealth Management team.
In addition to working closely with clients, Clive is a member of Reeves+Neylan’s Management Committee and is the firm’s Marketing Partner, a role which sees him lecture externally. He has a reputation for giving colourful and interesting presentations on a range of subjects and is frequently called upon to lecture on technical and related issues to groups of all sizes and from all backgrounds.
Clive is an active participant within Kreston International, the worldwide network of accounting firms, of which Reeves+Neylan are members.
Clive’s external activities include:
- Member of Kent University’s Enterprise Unit Advisory Board
- Hon Treasurer of Marlowe Theatre Development Trust – to raise £6 million towards a new theatre in Canterbury
- Hon Treasurer of East Bridge Deanery (17 Church of England parishes)
- Board member of Canterbury4Business and Chair of their Environment subgroup
Personal Interests
In his spare time Clive is a social golfer and is a former Captain of his local Club. Clive is married with three children, the youngest of which is currently teaching him how to fish!
