- Led a team to investigate the financial position of a computer software company, put into administration/receivership and worked with the MBO team to acquire and develop new companies
- Reported on the financial systems of a department of a local Authority which ultimately lead to its closure
- Carried out and lead teams on due diligence assignments in the following business sectors:- Manufacturing, Distribution, Motor, printing, freight forwarding and IT.
- Advised clients on exit strategies leading to the preparation of Information Memorandums, advertisements, meetings with potential buyers deal evaluation and the development of MBO teams
- Carried out the 'whitewash' procedures in acquisitions
- Assisted companies in the distribution and manufacturing sector to develop their strategic plans and identify target companies.
- Reviewed a manufacturing company for non-profitable divisions leading to their disposal
- Advised on individual and corporate share valuations for share buy backs and sales of companies in the manufacturing, distribution and motor sectors
- Strategic tax planning for reverse-takeover of an AIM company.
- Adviser to AIM company an acquisitions including valuation, structure, due diligence and tax.
- Sale of exhibition and mining engineering businesses to multi-national groups.
- Adviser to US companies on UK acquisitions in the freight forwarding, IT design and marketing sectors.
- Group restructuring to include demergers and S110 reorganisations.

In his spare time Andrew enjoys playing golf, tennis and squash and also likes to go skiing.
