As home-grown talent, Nigel originally joined the firm as a trainee accountant and then in 1999 transferred to the Canterbury Office and in a short time was appointed as one of the firm's Corporate Partners. Nigel now leads the Firm’s Corporate Services division.
Nigel has extensive knowledge and expertise in assisting owner-managed businesses, particularly companies and their shareholders, proactive advice, and ensuring businesses and their owners retain wealth and avoid many pitfalls.
Due to Nigel's breadth of knowledge and experience in advising owner-managed businesses, he can understand quickly the issues facing many businesses today and assist and provide solutions in a personal, prompt and efficient matter.
Nigel is also a key member of a number of the firm's internal committees and has an important role in assisting the firm on technical and system matters and developing the business.
As an active participant within Kreston International, the worldwide network of accounting firms, of which Reeves+Neylan are members, Nigel has worldwide accounting experience and relations with many other professionals.
Personal Interests
In his spare time Nigel enjoys motor racing, football, squash and golf. He is an active member of local business groups and the Chamber of Commerce.
