Further information

Neil began his career in audit with a “big 4” firm in London before working in a similar environment in the Czech Republic and then Israel where he specialised in privatisations, telecoms and IT businesses, media, retail and manufacturing for both local and multi-national clients. Promoted to senior assurance manager at PwC in Prague, Neil was responsible for the provision of Computer Assurance Services, led financial reporting and audit courses across Europe and gained significant corporate finance experience. In Israel, Neil continued to design and lead audit methodology training seminars, undertook consultancy projects in the telecoms sector relating to fixed asset accounting / control and improving cost information / budgeting systems, as well as managing audits for local and Nasdaq quoted clients.

Neil spent two years as CFO for a US owned start-up based in Israel which provided multicurrency solutions for the credit card industry where he was also responsible for market analysis, developing business plans and models, investor relations and liaison with regulatory authorities.

Returning to the UK, Neil was appointed Partner with Adler Shine LLP where his primary responsibilities were advising clients and colleagues on financial reporting technical matters, audits of private companies and AIM quoted companies, providing pre-acquisition due diligence and undertaking a number of transaction services / reporting accountant engagements including reviews of working capital and preparation of prospectus documents. In addition, Neil was an expert witness in a claim for loss of profits and performed share valuations for clients as well as advising clients regarding share option schemes, R&D tax credits, and EIS, VCT, EMI schemes.

Prior to joining Reeves+Neylan in December 2008, Neil managed a portfolio of larger owner managed and AIM listed clients for Baker Tilly in London.

Personal interests

Neil is an avid football fan and a regular badminton player. He is also an active member of a business ethics forum in London and enjoys reading especially history.
