Further information
James qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a medium sized London firm before joining a major national practice where he became a manager with a large portfolio of owner managed businesses together with publicly quoted companies.
He joined FW Stephens in January 1996, becoming a Partner in April 2000, and has continued to specialise in the provision of audit, tax and value added services to clients. In addition he has been, and still is, involved in areas such as business analysis and advice, and advising on business start-ups. In June 2010 FW Stephens merged with Reeves+Neylan.
He is an experienced auditor, accountant and tax planning strategist and has considerable experience of the regulated sectors working with FSA authorised companies, not for profit organisations and information technology companies.
James is currently acting for AIM listed clients together with a number entrepreneurial and owner managed businesses.
Personal Interests
In his spare time James is a sports fan, particularly rugby and football, and enjoys eating out at restaurants and seeing live music and theatre performances.
