Gary has over 20 years experience in working on all aspects of Trusts, Estates and Charitable Trusts. He has previously worked for Deloitte and Saffery Champness before joining FW Stephens in 2008 as their Trust Manager. He became a partner in Reeves+Neylan on 1 June 2010, when the two firms merged.
He advises on all matters pertaining to Trusts and Estates. These involve acting for Trustees and Executors with a diverse asset base including quoted investments, landed estates, commercial and residential properties, partnerships, private company shares. Gary also deals with other Trust structures such as Flat Management Companies and EFRBS.
He also advises on lifetime Inheritance Tax planning using trusts, will planning and other investment vehicles. He also deals with death estate matters including the administration of estates, completion of estate accounts, Inheritance Tax returns, corrective accounts and advising of the use of deeds of variation, where appropriate.
He also deals with all aspects of the accounting, taxation and Charity Commission compliance for Charitable Trusts and has been a regular contributor to charity newsletters.
He has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 1996 and is also a member of their Charities Special Interest Group.
Gary has also recently been nominated and accepted to sit on the Committee of the STEP London Central Branch, the largest STEP branch in the United Kingdom.
Personal Interests
Gary is an avid sports fan and is both a season ticket holder and supporters trust member of his local football club.
